Èeský Krumlov

The sightseeings

Welcome in the Èeský Krumlov palace! The interiors offer several sightseeing paths, visiting the lapidary or one of the oldest baroque theatres in the world. For really low fee you may climb to the palace´s tower and see the UNESCO heritage from above.

Anyway, for enjoying the wonderful atmosphere of the palace it is even not necessary to pay. Nice walks are offered by the huge garden with flowerbeds and high trees making pleasant shades. Probably the most popular building there is the Bellarie villa, that serves today as a scene for the theatre with the revolving auditorium.

When you are arriving (or departing) the palace, do not forget to wave to the bears. They had been breeded there since the Rožmberk era, in the second half of the 16th century.
